Con Edison electrical wanted to screw us over by saying the electric must enter on other end of commercial building. They wanted to charge us $22,000 to drill 20 ft over in the street. We went around that by running the 20 ft cement conduit on our sidewalk for $2500. We had to make a cement bathtub with manhole cover for access. Today we ran the 4 cables from the bathtub to the basement boxes via the cement conduits buried before sidewalk was cemented. This building will carry 1000 amps compared to 300 amps for a home. We need to Con Ed to do final inspection and do final connection. We are starting to sign off items to obtain TCO
