Con Report.... If anyone attended that would like to share their feelings please feel free. Not to Badmouth a Con people love but Youmacon was expensive and not well organized. Venue were spread apart which would be fine for a con in the summer months. To park comfortable by my hotel was $55 dollars for 3 days...the hotel was about $300 altogether for 2 full size bed. Bed are usually queensize for that amount. They sheets looked alil unwashed and I was facing an office being were I could see people each lunch and working in their cubicles. They didnt hand out a planner upon badge obtaiing so I didnt know what was going on and their just didnt seem to be enough events. Either walk 5-7 minutes in the cold or ride a crowded people mover to Cobo Hall. Which in heels wasnt happening on the walking. Oh yea and if you took the chance you might get rained on. The Hotel is freaking maze of escalators to get around so ..its really easy to get lost if you not familiar with the lay out. Just so many things. I had fun at the Rave and I enjoy the company of my friends and fellow cosplayers! But I dont sugar code unless they can get better organized and put everyone in one Venue I will never attend Youmacon again. Perhaps for just Saturday if anything and crash with some buddies. I am not about that life as broke college student. When I spend my money I should have a thoroughly awesome time. Especially when the bills comes up to almost $600 dollars maybe more.
