Concerned parent shares: do you ever have people respond in a shocked way that your child is aspergers? so far my sons preschool didnt believe his diagnosis though since they are noticing a few of his sensory issues but in their words boys being boys hes bound to be boisterous! ive also had comments of he doesnt look autistic! and also he has friends so he cant be autistic!!!! Im not completely on my own as i do have friends with aspergers and adhd children but i feel that i get ignored easily by some parents once autism is discussed my son is 4yrs old and will be attending reception class in september this year... i just hope the tranisition goes smoothly and i have better luck with his new teacher
