Concerning our post about the abandoned dog left tied up outside our shelter...We are all about taking care of animals and those in need. But we can only take in so many that is why we have a wait list. Anyone that calls us with an animal needing to be taken in we MUST put them on that list. We explain this in full so they understand why we are doing so. We also ask EVERYONE that calls us regarding an animal if they are inside city limits to call Batesville Animal Control. We are only able to take in animals that are outside of the city limits. We do apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause. We love ALL the animals that come into the shelter and try to provide the most that we can for each one of them. Please come by and adopt one of these sweet guys or gals so they can have a new start with a loving home and that will make room for more of the homeless animals that are needing some TLC.
