Concerning this business about Clairton Catholic versus St. Clare. Well, I was scouting around on a search engine, and I found some photos by Joe Katrencik (remember him?). He was, I believe, an English teacher in the 7th and 8th grades in the early 70s. He has thirteen photos posted on Flicker--even I am in one of them!!! They seem to be from the three classes that graduated in 1972 (my class), 1973 and 1974 (my brother Jerrys class). These are some great photos and are great resolution for being that old. Paul Vickers, Daniel Drnach, Kelly Braum Malone Barb Dull, Walt Kazmierski, Sandi Marnell among the many in these photos. I have always remembered Mr. Katrencik for giving me a Stan Musial baseball card that I still have somewhere.
