Concert time is great FUN for the kids!! There is excitement in the air. Its a time where friendships are cemented and a real team feeling flourishes. Although it can be a time when its crazy busy, stressful and overwhelming...and thats just for the parents!! Ask me why we do it....For the kids and what it gives them. Thanks to all the parents who help give our dancers a wonderful opportunity to share the experience. Now its time to prepare our children for the business ahead. Preparation and resilience is the key to making your child feel comfortable. Make sure they have ALL that they need. Practise putting on the makeup and doing hair. Help them to understand that its going to be busy and teachers get flustered. Make sure they get plenty of sleep. Above all dont panic!! Easy said than done, I know ;-)
