Conference on Inter-Religious Collaboration to Strengthen Peace and Security in EAC under way in Kigali Kigali September 16, 2014: A five-day conference on inter-religious collaboration to strengthen peace and security in the East African Community kicked off today at the Lemigo Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda. More than 150 religious and faith-based delegates from all the five Partner States are attending the conference to discuss inter-religious collaboration among different religions and faiths with the view to promote regional peace and security in the regional bloc. Hon. Francis Kaboneka, the Minister of Local Government officially opened the conference.
