Confession #7. I get somewhat uncomfortable when people compliment me or say really sweet things to me in general. It’s not that I dislike it when it happens - don’t get me wrong. I love receiving compliments and being told nice things like anyone else. It’s just that, not having the greatest self-esteem, I’m always a little surprised when it happens and I’m also never quite sure what to say besides “oh, uhm, thanks” because I’m just that awkward.
