Confession: I see others being active and exercising, doing physical things and enjoying that aspect of life and I am jealous. When fibro struck I was actually at my best physically, (my mantra at 38 was to be fit at forty and I was well on my way) I exercised 45 minutes to an hour five to seven days a week, in addition to just being active. (ok hyper active but still active!) Now just taking a walk can trigger pain that lasts for days. That is why I really love it when doctors and people tell me to just exercise it will help my fibro. I want to say, Really? Well why the hell didnt it PREVENT it then? This is where I learned that we can do all the right things and still get a wrong result.
