Confirmed: Young Jamaica in a press release urged Central Westmoreland MP elect Dwayne Vaz, to chart a new way forward on critical infrastructure development initiatives in the constituency, such as roads, proper housing, and drainage; areas which the group says has been neglected by the People’s National Party, starting as far back as Karl Blythe to as recently as the late Roger Clarke. The group said Mr. Vaz now has the power to change that, and it intends to hold him accountable if he continues his party’s shameful legacy of neglect and mismanagement. “It’s time the PNP shows respect for the people of Central Westmoreland. Dwayne Vaz must show that he is different. We are prepared to be a thorn in his side if things don’t start changing. The people we met and talked to, particularly the youth, are crying out for proper representation” said YJ President Howard Chamberlain Jr.
