Congrats MC Mary Kom on getting 1 more Gold in Indias kitty at Asiad Games...Its a day when each Indian Citizen would like to take pride in saying MC Mary Kom is from INDIA..But its also the day when each Indian should feel ASHAMED at the incident which occurred at the games with another Indian Boxer Sarita Devi..Cheating at its best at the Games..The 32-year-old boxer from Manipur dominated majority of the bout. The judges, however, thought otherwise and declared the Korean as the winner.The decision, which drew huge criticism, left Sarita in a state of shock and she was seen weeping inconsolably. Saritas husband Thoiba Singh was heard screaming at the officials and also got into a scuffle with security officials.She decided to appeal against the referees result.Sarita borrowed $500 and lodged an official complaint against the result. It didnt work out in her favour, as according to the rules a player cannot challenge the result of the judges. She decided not to accept the medal and she decided to return the Bronze medal. In my view all the Indian officals responsible for management of the contingent present at the games should resign with immediate effect. Where were they when they should have supported Sarita??? There was no one present to make her $ 500 available for appeal. At-last she had to borrow money from her coach and others. It took her 1 hour to collect the funds..Is this thing ACCEPTABLE, when we take pride in saying east or west India is the best?
