Congrats to Santa Anas award winning fleet department! The department, which has been recognized with countless awards including the 5th Best Fleet and the 11th Greenest Fleet in the Nation in 2012, recently converted these gas trucks to propane to save the City money and the environment! The converted trucks were featured at a convention in san Diego among industry professionals. Here are the details: the trucks provide lower tailpipe emissions, reduce the Citys carbon footprint, reduce greenhouse gas emission, which reduces our dependency on foreign oil, reduces maintenance and low fuel cost by over $2.00 per gallon.
