Here it is: My most favorite experience at Petunias was being able to share cake with my twin sister who had just received a heart transplant. She had undergone some terrible complications shortly after the surgery, and was almost like we were going to lose her... But the day that she was finally able to go home (a full two months after the surgery), we took a side trip to Petunias to pick up some delicious cakes and cookies! Instead of just getting one or two slices, we ended up getting a slice of each cake and some cheesecake. That night, we stuffed our faces at home and celebrated life, because it was DEFINITELY a good day to be alive.
