Congratulations Governor Rauf Aderemi Aregbesola Badero Olusola wrote Even though the official INEC results of Osun State election is yet to be out, it is obvious the incumbent Gov is leading with sizable margin so far, I hereby join the rest of the country to congratulate him in his hard won victory. My sincere congratulations goes to the good people of Osun state that out of various external intimidations and oppression speaks with a single loud voice that Gov Aregbesola is their preferred choice to continue leading them. One thing I will add is, APC didnt win the election but the ruggedity of the man popularly referred to as Ogbeni. Hes a serious showman. A show stopper and die hard grassroots politician. For the first time, Aregbe wins an election in Osun state. His first coming was a salamic abracadabra. This is his first rest of his popularity, and hes proved his mettle beyond all reasonable doubt. My heartfelt congratulations also goes to Senator Iyiola Omisore, the PDP candidate in the election. He fought a great battle. The toughest of his life if I may add. I dont think hell ever fight any political battle of this magnitude again in his future political career. Also, it is better to give a big kudos to President Goodluck Jonathan that allowed the will of Osun people to prevail. He is the most misunderstood President Nigeria has ever produced. Everyone can understand the fear of the opposition before the election. We can all vividly remember the do or die era of 2003 and aftermath effect of such. President Jonathan said Osun State will be secured against the miscreants that may want to thwart and subvert the will of the people in the election and he fulfilled his promise. Today his party lost but to me, he is a winner. Now to the rest of the southwest, Osun election has taught us that in every political or public office we find ourselves, the people must come first. The era of taking the people for granted is gone for good. Your work can only speak for you and not how much financial war chest you possess. The people are getting wiser everyday. Sharing of Kerosene, Bags of rice and Fufu wont really win you an election, but your antecedents, past or present. On this note, we should all go back to the drawing board and bring back the lost love we once share and cherish in the Yoruba Nation. Governor Aregbesola, the time for politics is over. Time of issuing threatening and divisional statements is gone. This is the time to pay back the good gestures bestowed on you by your people. They have renewed their trusts in you. May God keep helping and guiding you as another 4 years mandate has been handed over to you. Congratulations your Excellency. 2015 is next. To be or not to be? Only time will tell. Maiyegun Gbogbo Glasgow.
