Congratulations, Year of the Bible readers! Weve now read through three of the four Gospels! Today our New Testament readings turn to Philippians, Pauls letter to the church in Philippi. In Philippians, Paul bares his soul to his longtime friends in Philippi. In this letter we get a good look at what made Paul tick - Christ crucified and raised from the dead - knowing this Christ is Pauls ultimate prize. Heres todays Bible reading. In Job, Elihu concludes his speech by pointing out the uselessness of Jobs appeals of innocence and exalts Gods goodness. In Philippians, Paul begins his letter with a prayer of thanksgiving for the Philippians.
