Congratulations once again San Roque Elementary and San Roque High contingent.Yes, for the second year as GRAND CHAMPION. To the commitee you all deserves plaque too for your hardwork before and after the celebration. May I share my observations,Representative from local tourism of Southern Leyte gave his short message and awed inspired me that of 500 barangays in Southern Leyte only 10 baranggays that has festivals such as Panagsaan and formally announced and enlisted Panagsaan as one of the festivals in Southern Leyte. Unimaginable that we reached that awesome news in three years time.During the festival I also noticed vendors selling bottled water,packed lanzones and other fruits it soften my heart that Panagsaan festival helps to make livelihood of the community. It is all our duty on how to sustain this activity that we started and help more people in our barrio. Just like he said(DOT rep) he is worried that if father Eric Johns term ends as ou Parish Priest, thats the end of Panagsaan as well.San Roquenhon it is within us now how to keep it not just for short term but for future and future to come.
