Congratulations to Apryl Sabodosa and Tom OShea for their impressive wins at the 38th Annual Magnolia Road Race. With fantastic weather and a great showing of runners and spectators alike, this was our best event yet. We brought back the pancake breakfast and pier jump and Sandy Peeks All Star Band way more than lived up to the title with several rocking sets that lasted well into the afternoon. The kids 1K race was bigger than ever and congrats to our winners, Max The Protégé Littman and Lilly Vitale. I would like to thank everyone who came to Magnolia yesterday to run, eat, watch, jam, bounce, and/or jump!! It was truly a memorable morning. Special kudos go out to our volunteers who made sure the event went off without one glitch (maybe a first). Our sponsors were more than generous with their donations and services. It was great to see so many old friends yesterday and it seems like everyone has an idea to make the event even better next year. I have noted all of them and we will soon have a wrap up meeting with our great race committee.
