Congratulations to Coach Micela as he has been asked to speak at the 2014 American Open Weightlifting Championships on December 12-14th in Washington D.C.. He will speak at two different lectures. The first talk being on how independent business owners have made a living coaching the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. Coach will talk about when he left College Coaching to dedicate his time, money, and energy as a private coach. He will be joined by a variety of other private business owners with diverse backgrounds whom have made it work. The second talk will be a National Level Coaches Roundtable. Coach Micela was selected do to his Experience and Proven Results at the National and International Level. Topics that will be discussed will be: 1. Developing a National Level Contending Athlete 2. Talent Identification of Youth Lifters and of Athletes from other sports 3. Once an athlete is made a International Team now what?
