Congratulations to Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority for record travel! Nashville International Airport Reports Highest Number of Total Passengers in Airport’s History BNA reached more than 10.6 million total passengers for FY 2014 The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) announced that Nashville International Airport (BNA) handled more than 10.6 million total passengers in fiscal year 2014, which ended June 30, 2014. This record is a continuation of BNA’s growing trend in travelers. “This is a significant achievement for Nashville International Airport, Nashville and the Middle Tennessee region,” said MNAA President and CEO Rob Wigington. “This milestone passenger number reflects Nashville’s flourishing economy and highlights the rise of travelers and visitors who are choosing to fly into and out of Music City.” The total number of passengers who utilized BNA in FY 2014 was 10,627,239, a 6 percent increase over FY 2013. Just this past June, BNA hit another record – most passengers in a day – with more than 20,000 passengers flying out of BNA after the conclusion of CMA Music Festival, a four-day music festival focused on country music hosted by the Country Music Association each June. In FY 2013, 10.1 million travelers passed through the airport, marking the first time in BNA history to achieve the milestone since 1993 at the peak of the American Airlines hub. Nashville International Airport is currently served by 10 airlines and offers 380 daily arriving and departing flights. Nashville International provides nonstop air service to 49 markets.
