Congratulations to Ryan Miller and Jeff McCrann on receiving their American Farmer Degrees at The National FFA Convention. As they receive this prestigious honor a big shout also goes out to Mr. Bryan Crapo for his never ending dedication to these kids. As a parent of a former recipient of this award, this would not have been possible without his dedication to his students. In a community where some form of agriculture is a way of life and reinforced by the amount of exhibitors at Attica Fair; we as a school and a community need to commend Mr. Crapo and the Ag program he has at our school. Many of our children will go onto college and those colleges look for such things as State Farmer Degrees and American Farmer Degrees, because they show dedication, life lessons, profit and loss, and ability to problem solve. I am proud that I went thru our Ag program while I was in high school as two of my children, unfortunately the jury is out on the third, as it is more difficult to be able to schedule Vocational Agriculture into class schedules. I hope that my daughter will be able to participate in FFA when she is in high school because there are lessons that she will learn there that will teach her more life lessons than some of the other classes will. Congrats again SE FFA on a job well done!!
