Congratulations to The Anderson County FFA Milk Quality and Products Team...AND FFA Food Science and Technology Team!!! BOTH TEAMS won their state contest today at the TN State Fairgrounds!!! For the Milk Quality Team, this is the 3rd year YES I said 3rd year in a row we have won this contest!!! These 9th graders were the TOP 4 High Scoring Individuals in the STATE!!! Each year is with DIFFERENT kids!! This year it was all freshman students!! This was the first year for the Food Science Contest. Names and scores to come later!! I AM SO PROUD OF MY KIDS!! Both teams have worked SUPER, SUPER hard!!!! The Milk Team has busted their butts to win, studied at home, spent 4-5 hours on Saturdays at school training before the state cde, over their lunch times, after school and consumed almost 37 gallons of milk at 1 oz. at time since mid August!!! I have been a slave driver on both teams. But that is what it takes to win...I push them and push them hard. The Food Science & Technology Team has spent at least 4 hours EACH day since mid August just in studying for the Written Test. They are some of the best students I have ever had. Some Seniors, some Juniors and one sophomore!! I play the first part of this song to my kids by Eminem Yes, LOL I do listen to him!!
