Congratulations to UE electrical engineering seniors Jake Schwartz and Austin Deuerling on their second place finish at the March 15 IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) SoutheastCon Regional Competition in Lexington, Kentucky. Austin and Jake designed a robot to shoot darts in a simulated basketball goal from various distances to emulate the playing and shooting dynamics of basketball on a simulated basketball court.
