Congratulations to Virginia Tech PhD Student Ron Kent at receiving the American Chemical Society Ellen Gonter Environmental Chemistry Award! His paper was titled Controlled Evaluation of Silver Nanoparticle Sulfidation: Reaction Mechanism and Particle Stability, coauthored by Joel Oser, undergraduate research assistant, and Peter Vikesland, EWR Professor. The Gonter Award is presented to graduate students at U.S. and international universities who submit the highest quality research papers.
