Congratulations to all of the participants in the 2014 Warner Pacific Middle School Band Festival yesterday! PHOTOS of the event can be found at the link below. Programs awarded for outstanding combined score from jazz and concert bands in the morning were Beaumont MS, (Cynthia Plank), Chehalis MS (John Veltkamp) and Straub MS (Jaimie Hall). For the afternoon, awards went to Damascus MS ( Allen Evans), Gordon Russell MS (Mike Regan), and Walker Middle School (Phil Rundquist). Outstanding Soloist Awards in Jazz for the morning were Michail Thompson-flugel horn, (Beaumont MS); Sadie Tholburn-trombone (Beaumont MS), and Jacob McCarthy -drums (Chehalis MS). Afternoon soloist awards went to Abby Cohen-piano (Gordon Russell MS); Brody Hillman-trombone (Walker MS), and Lizzy Kizer-drums (Walker MS). THANK YOU once again to all of the directors for all of the time and energy you pour into these kids!!
