Congratulations to everyone on another very successful ocean swim. Final numbers were around 626 - a lot of these registering today. It is fantastic that this event is always so well supported by the whole club and we can always work so well together as a Newport family, so thank you to everyone who assisted - set up, pack up, registration, fruit ninjas, water safety, BBQ, bag collection, t-shirt sales, first aid, catering, VIP hosts, water fillers, tag timer helpers, MC, ESO, helpers and anyone else I may have forgotten...thank you so much for all you have done. The comments today have been amazing, with particular praise for our calmness, professionalism, and the safety they feel with our water safety ratios - particularly the number of IRBs and Jetskis we were able to have - so congratulations to the organising committee on a job very well done.
