Congratulations to my colleagues, Senator Barbara Boxer and Congressman Bill Shuster, on being selected to jointly receive the Port Person of the Year award from the American Association of Port Authorities! I have had the good fortune of working with both of them on port legislation, with Senator Boxer on the WRRDA conference committee, and with Congressman Shuster on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. I was honored to receive the award with my friend Congressman Ted Poe last year and I know that this years award is going to two very deserving lawmakers.
