Congratulations to our October Students of the Month!! Blue Caterpillars-Matthew Isaac is student of the month. Matthew is an excellent reader for Kindergarten. He does very well in math and all other subjects. Matthew is respectful, responsible, and a good citizen. He enjoys helping in class, and is a good friend to everyone. I enjoy having Matthew in my class. Great job, Matthew! Red Caterpillars-Chelsea Bolding is our nominee for student of the month. She is kind, caring and courteous to all of her teachers. She is a diligent worker who takes pride when completing her assignments and always tries her best. Chelsea is a positive role model and a wonderful leader in class. We are so happy to have Chelsea in the Red Caterpillar Class! Monarch Butterflies-The student of the month for the Monarchs’ is Abby Russ. She is new to Presidio this year and is adapting very well! She always follows the school and our class rules and procedures and can be counted on to be doing the right thing when no one is looking! She has been working hard on her reading and handwriting and is showing improvement since starting in August. Way to go, Abby! Swallowtail Butterflies-I am proud to present Abigail Amoretti as the Swallowtail Butterfly student of the month. Abigail is always kind to others. She is a very good friend to Presidio School students, and cleans up our campus whenever she sees trash on the playground. Abigail is a very responsible and caring student, she finishes her work on time, with beautiful handwriting, and she is an excellent reader too. She is always cheerful and helpful. I am very happy that Abigail is in our class. Zebra Butterflies-My nomination for student of the month is Bethany Harow. Bethany is kind, caring and always respectful to her classmates and teachers. She abides by all six pillars of Character Counts. Bethany completes all her work on time and always does her best. Bethany is eager to help her classmates and teacher. She is responsible and always brings her folder and planner back daily. Bethany is trustworthy and works well independently. Tree Frogs-The student of the month for the 2nd grade Tree Frogs is Giovanni Sandidge. Gio is a very respectful student who always follows class rules and procedures. He works well with his classmates when doing teamwork. Gio is not only trustworthy, but he is also a very caring and kind member of our class. Way to go, Gio! Keep up the good work! Toucans-The Toucan Student of the Month is Aliyah Edminson. Aliyah is a diligent worker and she shows perseverance as she completes her daily assignments. Aliyah gets along well with classmates and her cheery personality and warm smile have made her many friends in 2nd grade. Keep up the good work, Aliyah! Wildcats-The Wildcat student of the month is Emma Eddy. Emma had a rough start to the school year and worked very hard to raise her grades. Her behavior and attitude at school have done a complete 180 and she is doing better than ever! I am so proud of her dedication and hard work. You rock, Emma! Roadrunners-The Roadrunner Student of the Month for Trustworthiness is Cory Almada. Cory can always be relied on to get his work done on time and to very high standards. He can be relied on to do his best every day, is focused and thinking very hard during every class, and is a good and trustworthy friend to everyone. His classmates and I love having Cory in our class. Great job, Cory! AZ Explorers-The Fourth Grade Explorer student of the month nominee is Jewelya Brambila. What an extraordinary student! Jewelya is conscientious and enthusiastic about learning. She writes with technical skill and creativity. Challenges dont slow her down; she meets each new task with cheerful determination and encourages others to do the same. Congratulations! AZ Rangers-Valeria Bonet works extremely hard in class, after school, and at home. Her efforts go above and beyond, and she has a great attitude. Valeria is a kind and caring classmate, too. Keep up the good work, Valeria! Broncos-The Broncos student of the month is Kelton Cuson. He has a positive, can-do attitude and works hard to succeed in school. He is very conscientious to turn in his homework and always makes sure to do his best work. Keep up the good work, Kelton! Bears-My student of the month goes to Diego Yepez. Diego is a true gentleman. He is courteous and hardworking, never missing an assignment, and completing work with detailed quality. He speaks at the right time, never out of turn, and his words are intelligent and fruitful. Diego is the embodiment of the six pillars of character. Congratulations, Diego! Chargers-The Chargers nominate Gianna Cordova for student of the month. Gianna has been a wonderful addition to the Presidio family. She is a hard worker who always offers to help and is a friend to all. Gianna has made friends in many grades and is a treasured member of the Presidio Middle School. Way to go, Gianna! Colts-The Colts’ student of the month is Paulina Spicker. Paulina is an excellent student who always turns her work in on time, follows the six pillars of character and behaves in a quiet and respectful manner. We are happy to have Paulina on the Presidio campus! Diamondbacks-Mia-Mykle Rodriguez is student of the month for the Diamondbacks. She always comes to class chipper and happy and shows wonderful character towards her fellow classmates. She stays on top of all of her work, is always respectful, and is a wonderful addition to the Diamondbacks classroom. She has had a wonderful beginning of the school year and has demonstrated that she is both a wonderful student and a kind and caring individual who exemplifies the Presidio spirit! Keep up the good work, Mia! Dolphin-Aspen Tramm is the Dolphin of the Month for October. Aspen’s calm demeanor always sets a successful classroom tone. She asks intelligent questions and often provokes stimulating discussions among her fellow students. Aspen is always well-prepared for tests and quizzes and turns in all of her work on time. She has earned the full respect of her classmates and her teachers. For all these reasons, Aspen has certainly earned the honor of being Student of the Month! Eagles-Alex Johnson is the Eagles’ student of the month. He is such a confident and knowledgeable student who has adjusted very well to being new to Presidio School! Congratulations, Alex! Falcons-The Falcon student of the month is Isobelle Strnatka. Izzy is always pleasant, completes all her work on-time, challenges everything when she makes a mistake and still has time to help her peers. She is a role model and respected by her peers and teachers. Keep up the good work, Izzy! Freshman- Anna Brunson for her attention to detail and fantastic work ethic. She is kind to everyone and knows how to manage her time wisely. Sophomore- Jessica Muth for her meticulous work ethic and for keeping in mind that school should be her top priority. Junior- Daniel McConnell for his hard work especially in APUSH to improve his writing by paying attention to detail. Senior- Skylar Vaillencourt for his ability to balance school, work, and his social life, and still be able to excel in his classes.
