Congratulations to our fabulous Julie Land who has completed the first100km of her goal to run 2000km this year to raise money for the Youth Cancer Trust. Julie has been a keen supporter for the last few years, raising money by completing the ice bucket challenge and taking part in the Bournemouth Marathon Festival 10k race in 2013 and again in 2014. Julie also brought along her two boys last year to run the 5k, but after their running coach had to pull out last minute, Julie finished her 10k then when straight back to the start line to run the 5k to support her boys. Julies challenge for 2015 has been inspired by reading recent statistics, that over 2000 young people are diagnosed with cancer every year. Julie will be setting up a Just Giving page if you would like to make a donation and she would love to read your messages of support. We will be giving updates of her progress throughout the year. If you would like to complete your own Challenge for 2015 please do get in touch. Can you run / walk / cycle / swim / ? would you like to try something more adventurous like sky diving ? or perhaps raise some money by organising a fund raising event? Would you like to take part in a relay or team event such as a plane pull? Whatever it is, wed love to hear from you. Lets make 2015 a great year!
