Congratulations to the Fardoun family on their announced opening of Falafill, a Chicago-based Mediterranean restaurant chain... to open in Midtown Detroit. The restaurants primary dish is falafel, a traditional Middle Eastern food. Best described as a deep-fried fritters of ground chickpeas and herbs, served in a pita or wrapped in flat-bread and topped with salads, spicy sauces and pickled vegetables.
