Congratulations to the LISD TECH Center Engineering, Design & CAD students who participated in the Transportation and Civil Engineering (TRAC) Bridge Challenge in Lansing in April 2014! The TRAC Bridge Challenge, sponsored by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), is a hands-on education program for high school students designed to generate interest in engineering studies and careers. It gives students an opportunity to apply science, math, and social studies skills to real-world engineering projects. LISD TECH Center Engineering, Design & CAD students competed in the Bridge Challenge, taking fourth place.
