Congratulations to the St. Louis Cardinals for making the NLCS, I knew you guys could do it! On another note, I have noticed so far every postseason game the organization has decided to block off every re-entry gate except for gate 4, which has been barricaded. The people who wish to leave and re-enter the game that have done so during the regular season at gates 1 and 2 are not able to do so. As I know this is a decision made for very good reason, whatever reason that may be, I feel it is frustrating to every aspect of the environment that is outside of the gates for fans, employees and such. It is near impossible to pull my average at a game with the re-entry gate restriction. I havent talked to other street performers, however I have noticed a large drop in traffic for all the merch booths (their employees are on commission if Im guessing right) as well as a slower pace with the fan photographers. The walk down Clark St. seems crowded, accident prone, and tasking. To me the spirit of the stadium and what I guess Ill start calling the regular season format made the game enjoyable. I would be able to see Jack Bucks statue before every game and pat him on the shoulder. I would have the perfect spot to look into the field from the gate everytime I wanted to check the score. Also I would be able to see fans hanging outside each gate and enjoy the street music at their respective corners while listening to Mike Shannon at his best. Im unfortunate to say that aside from any possible early work before the game and before the rally starts I will not be in suit. Ill do my best to get some time in before the rallies start at the NLCS games along (finger crossed) with the WS games as well. Unless I am able to live the experience that brought me close to this city and gave me the heart for this team, I prefer to be with family at home than standing outside alone My apologies for anyone that is offended by my opinion, I ask that you please respect it and keep comments cordial. I will be helping my brother Joe make Fredbird Hats instead at the rally throughout the rest of the postseason.
