Congress decision not surprising but incorrect: Omar Abdullah Mubashir Bukhari Srinagar: Just after Jammu and Kashmir, Congress Sunday announced that the party would contest forthcoming assembly polls on all 87 seats in the state alone , Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that Cong decision is wrong & a complete distortion of the facts, not surprising but incorrect none the less. Omar on popular micro-blogging site twitter wrote “I met the Mrs Gandhi 10 days ago & thanked her for all her support. I conveyed NCs decision to fight the elections alone.” He further tweeted “I explained the reasons but also told her I wouldnt be making a public announcement because I didnt want it to look opportunistic” Calling the decision of Congress as incorrect, Omar said , “For it to be spun now as a Cong decision is wrong & a complete distortion of the facts, not surprising but incorrect none the less .”
