Congress would need a very strong KPCC President capable of bring disciple into the party organization; and he should be above all those internal fractional politics in the party. I strongly feel that if the Congress party to have any long term future, it should start having internal elections, even if it means that the Gandhi dynasty is ousted from the top rungs of the party. Rahul Gandhi supports internal elections since he has already said “We will give you a party you will be proud of, and that has your voice embedded inside”, these were his words! In Kerala, the congress party is losing out their traditional votes; my family used to vote for congress customarily since we don’t have any strong political affiliations; but no more, probably never again, after closely watching Oommen Chandy style of state administration. Oommen Chandy must read “The Story of My Experiments with Truth”, Mahatma Gandhi’s autobiography to understand why he should show minimum respect to “the goddess of truth” in his administration.
