~Connecting Words~ I remember feeling the emotional sting Of people saying I would amount to nothing And how that broke down my self-confidence Trapping me behind a wall of self-defense Looking back at the days of my wild youth Seems I started to believe that it was the truth So I completely stopped caring or even trying It didn’t matter that my soul was slowly dying Many different times I shook the hand of death Yet for some reason he didn’t steal my breath I thought it was so I’d have to face and endure Things within my head that I could not cure But that was back then and this is right now And I found the reason I’ve survived somehow So I write every night and nearly every day Connecting words to help others find their way My Dear Friends...Been Feeling Tired, Burned Out and Disconnected the last few Weeks or So. Ill bet youve seen it in many of the People surrounding you also. Stay Strong and Follow your Heart...Moments like these Pass through our Lives for a Reason :-) Best Wishes and God Bless
