Connie Riddle Cremeens 1/13/1948 - 3/29/2014 Connie Riddle Cremeens Connie (Riddle) Cremeens, 66, of West Frankfort, Illinois departed this life and earned her wings at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital – St. Louis, Missouri. This sweet lady was born January 13, 1948 to Roy Robert and Mildred (Todd) Riddle.She married Dwight Cremeens, who survives, on May 24, 1991 in Paducah, Kentucky. Connie worked several years at a local agency that assisted and cared for the elderly. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Connie was a child of God. She loved and adored her family. She liked drawing, enjoyed cooking for her family, and loved shopping. She and Dwight raised 4 beautiful daughters. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Bobby John Riddle and Harry E. Riddle. Survivors include her husband, Dwight Cremeens of West Frankfort; daughters: Tonya Fitch, Candida Conley, Amy Cremeens Smith all of West Frankfort, Leanne Cremeens (Greg) Ward of Fenton, MO. From those beautiful daughters came Maw Maw Connie and Paw Paw Dwights 8 grandchildren: Jarrett and Coleman Fitch, Madison and Greyson Conley, Ethan and Gabe Smith, and Kyle and Tyler Ward. Her grandchildren were her most prized treasure in life. Also surviving are three brothers: Ronnie Dean Riddle, Sr., Billy Norman Riddle both of West Frankfort, Robert Wayne (Niki) Riddle of Mt. Vernon, IL; three sisters: Middy (Bill) Hebbeler of Zeigler, Imogene Shelton of Mt. Vernon, Wanda Cabaness Heckman of West Frankfort. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Union Funeral Home – West Frankfort, Illinois with Rev. Ron Cremeens officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Tower Heights Cemetery – West Frankfort, Illinois.
