Conservation in action! Join us for the 20th annual Creek Cleanup of Coal Creek at 9 a.m. on May 31. Meet at the Tulsa Zoo, where all volunteers will enjoy a free breakfast before picking up trash along Coal Creek. All equipment will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear clothing and shoes that are appropriate for outdoor work. After the cleanup, volunteers will head back to the zoo for lunch, activities and attendance prizes. The Tulsa Zoo is proud to participate in this local conservation effort in order to beautify a section of Tulsa’s streams. Trash is harmful to wildlife, so it’s important that we always clean up our trash and recycle when possible.
