Conservatives have dedicated themselves to getting more money into the political process. They have spent years doing that. Now they have been able to establish a political system that is almost all based on money. Good job conservatives. So now, those who want a system based on the needs of the people, need to work very hard to get the money out of politics. Money in politics does not work for us. We dont have enough of it. What we do have is numbers. We outnumber the monied elite by many times. It is only due to our lack of participation that they succeeded over us. ----- If we want well fed, well educated, informed, healthy, and secure people to walk in our nation, we now have to work hard to get money out of politics again. We will have to draft a code of ethics for reform which will need to address the take over of the media by corporations. We will have to elect people to office who are like us, not millionaires and that means campaign finance changes. I think we need more political parties and one less, the republicans. They are all corrupt now. ---- We need to draft a code of ethics for running for and being in office. We need to then pick candidates who will adhere to that code. ----- I have submitted some ideas for that code. Lets hear your ideas.
