Consider the fact that Bush went through eight years of a media that went far beyond hostile. Prominent news shows slandered him with forged documents, personalities constantly joked about--or just plain wished for--his assassination, Hollywood joined in the murder-fantasies, and activists even bought land next door to more easily harass him and his family. Obama, on the other hand, has been utterly worshipped by the media. Where for Bush they had to make up crimes, our medias been zealous in covering his association with America-hating nutcases and unrepentant terrorists, in ignoring his abandonment of people to die for his political gain, in their uncritical repetition in each of Obamas laughably dishonest claims, and in their vicious race-baiting and slander of anyone who dares to criticize him.
