If it wasnt Israel that had conquered Palestine but Syria, would Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims view the situation the same way? Pride/humiliation: What else can explain an inability to even say the word Israel publicly in most Arab countries? What else can explain how Arab/Muslim governments can act much worse than Israel yet only receive a tenth of the criticism by Arabs in the West? What else can explain that Arabs have killed more or a similar number of Palestinians (depending on whose statistics you believe) than Israel since 1948 yet no one talks about it?
