Consider the spoon, dismissed by some as our lowliest utensil. I too was a doubter until the recently, after one too many attempts to fork-spear croutons in Ceasar salads, only to have them crumble like my expectations that they would survive to interact intact with this dishs leafy delights. Peas? Mashed potatoes? Even bits cut, by spoons edge, from a kebab and then settled unspillingly into a bed of saffron rice? Lets face it, spoons rule. Any dissenters?
