Consider this Good Saints: Dont get your shorts in a wad but it seems to be fashionable today even in some ministries for people to be focused upon building their own personal reputations, and wealth instead of good, truthful, loving shepherding of people. Surely, this involves hard work, and emptying oneself of superiority over others in service to them. Remember, it is God who will take your testimony before people! It is God who will bring you the promotion! It is God who will shut the mouth of the enemy! It is God who has promised to meet your every need! It is God who will exalt you in due time! He does not need your help, just your trusting obedience. Philippians 2:6-11; J.B. For he, who had always been God by nature, did not cling to his prerogatives as God’s equal, but stripped himself of all privilege by consenting to be a slave by nature and being born as mortal man.
