Considering a lot of factors into 2015 election, it is inescapable - TopicsExpress

Considering a lot of factors into 2015 election, it is inescapable the seriousness of what stands ahead. The increase tempo by Boko Haram and the Military response equally, one cannot take Section 64 (2) of the constitution lightly at this point – that section repeatedly as Section 135 (3) gives GEJ and our National Assembly powers to retain current status quo of governance. There still remains an Emergency deceleration in place in some state of the Nation, and considerably, elections will not be possible in those states given the Masquerade dance by INEC -that to me will constitute an exclusion of those states in the electoral process, and a fraud to the Nigerian State. Should the authorities come to reality the Nation is at War with Boko Haram, a war that as long being waged without national declaration; would it not be fully constitutional for the National Assembly to use its powers of extending resolutions to prolong governance as subscribe in subsection (1) of the section in question {Section 64 (2) –Section 135 (3)}? The greedy quest for status leads only to a destructive end. Those with whom humility has granted harmonious living tend to compromise for a better cohabitation -dishonesty for self satisfaction is the wrong headed road, lets call for caution. Nigerians cannot escape the truth within! With the current greedy bunch in place running the affairs of our beloved nation -anything is possible, and 2015 election can go in the way of the trash-bin. The clouds are gathering -the storms will make way for heavy rain fall, and let us hope the floods will not finally carry away what is left of the peace and unity.
