‘Considering next screenplay’ While I was considering about my next screenplay, which still has not been made up a page for right now, I was asking myself ‘What should I choose as the theme of it?’ As a beginner screenwriter, I checked the trends of the theme from that I had recently watched films. In the final analysis, I had reached a natural conclusion. That is ‘love story’ that most audience are ‘moved’. Last year I saw Denzel Washington starring ‘Flight’ and I was moved because it was not an acrobatic manoeuvre movie but a love story. This summer’s Masaharu Fukuyama starring ‘Manatsu no hôteishiki’ was a detective story but also the theme was ‘love’. Last weekend I saw ‘Startrek Into Darkness’.It didn’t move me, because it was a ‘revenge’ story rather than USS Enterprise crew love story. So I had decided my future film is about ‘love’. I don’t care Box Office smash hit! P.S. I didN7t finish reading ‘afterdark’ yet.
