“Constant Thought” A mind is in constant thought And deep reflection Pondering all there is to ponder through It heads toward as many directions An open mind may wander to In search of the wisdom sought To reach perfection Found in a walk of life that has no steps A mind falls prey to a body’s rejection One thought away from flawless depths But a soul takes the fight it brought And keeps protection Against re-thinking up ways to mislead it It reflects solely on one connection And how the thought of one constant freed it And how one constant thought was all it needed
