Construction Update: Middle Plantation Key North & South- Punch list items completion. South Plantation Key Bayside- Installation of Vertical Air Intakes, cleaning and testing of installed infrastructure. SPK Oceanside- Vacuum Pit installation on East Ridge. Mainline installation on Coral Rd. Windley Key- Mainline installation begins Key Largo: Open cut installation from MM95 toward the north restarted 9/18/2013 continues through completion. Daytime lane closures north and southbound possible. Tavernier: Horizontal Directional Drill installation has moved to the median at Dickey Way in Tavernier. Asphalt restoration of the trench line will be ongoing next week. Some daytime turn lane closures and nighttime travel lane closure will be experienced. The intersection of Ocean Blvd and US 1 is scheduled to be closed Monday night to Tuesday morning 10/7/2013 to 10/8/2013 for asphalt repairs weather permitting. Tavernier Creek Channel crossing: The northbound side walk over the Tavernier Creek Bridge from Bessie Rd. to Ocean Blvd. will remain closed until installation is completed. Please use the southbound sidewalk as an alternative. Bore hole preparation for pipe installation ongoing for next 2 weeks. Old Hwy North Plantation Key: Trench line maintenance will continue ahead of pavement overlay. Installation of the pipeline will recommence after the completion of the Tavernier Creek Channel crossing. Middle Plantation Key Old Hwy.: Pre-trenching and installation of mainline and service connections has moved to Coral Rd. heading south from approximately MM88.5. Single lane closure will be experienced during all operations. Low pressure lateral service connection installation is ongoing behind mainline installation. Paving Project: Week of October 7th NPK Gardenia St, Azalea St, Coconut Palm Blvd, Hibiscus St, Jasmine St and Bougainvillea St MPK Iroquois St, Mohawk St, Sioux St, Pueblo St, Navajo St, Apache St and Indian Mound Trail
