We are looking for highly motivated and zealous individual for the following position: Position: Integration Consultant Location: Karachi, Pakistan (May require international travel) Job Description: Integration Specialist are required to integrate heterogeneous systems on the principles of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) by developing, implementing integration keeping in view the needs of service development, management and monitoring. The Integration Consultant will help manage the integration deliverables associated with implementation projects built on the top of Oracle SOA Suite and application integration architecture. Job Responsibilities: • Serves as subject matter expert in the service oriented architecture arenas. • Develops core reusable services using JEE technology for use in current and future projects according to project needs • Works and leads development teams to implement integration between multiple systems through appropriate application and utilization of SOA techniques and services while improving performance and quality • Implements and provides guidance to development teams in support of Tactical and Strategic SOA integrations • Ensures developed services comply with established SOA governance rules, maturity and monitoring • Test Plan Development and Execution, Test Script Design and Development, • Coordinate assigned deliverable schedules to ensure client’s timelines are met. • Production Support and Issue Resolution • Ensures continuous transfer of knowledge by providing senior technical SOA expertise and guidance Desired Skills and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Experience developing and architecting distributed service architectures (SOA) • Solid understanding of the SOA principles • Experience building and consuming web services (SOAP and REST) • Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies. Inquisitive type of personality. • Strong skills in the J2EE platform • Strong with the SDLC and the various flavors of the SDLC • 2+ years of the overall software development experience. • Must be able to work in a team oriented environment • Able to work with minimal supervision • Experience with ETL tools and/or service bus technologies will be a plus.
