Consultation on future strategic direction Following on from the VCS consultation process undertaken by Leicester City Council recently for all VCS organisations including the FMO, we recognise that there may be a need to assess our future strategic direction. As an organisation we may need to streamline and capitalise on our strong heritage to further the needs and aspirations of the Muslim community by moving further towards our natural position of a central umbrella body and maximise our core strengths of working with stakeholders and statutory bodies on policy and strategy. We have decided to undertake a consultation process in order to gauge the opinions of our affiliates and the Muslim community on the future direction of the FMO. We would like to hear your thoughts and views on the future direction, structure and vision of the FMO. We would be grateful if you could email your suggestions, thoughts, views and opinions to us at [email protected] by Friday 28 March. By the grace of the Almighty SWT, recently we celebrated the 30th anniversary since our inception. Although we have achieved a prominent milestone due to the sacrifices and efforts of our elders and forebears, there remains much to do with your support to ensure our continued existence for the next generation. In order to ensure any strategic changes remain representative of the opinions of those we seek to serve, we would urge all of our affiliates, members and the wider community make a concerted effort to participate in this consultation process.
