Consumer demand works just fine, thank you. Just got this from my non-GMO chicken feed supplier this morning. She writes: "...there are many, many states that have either already passed non-GMO labeling bills or they are in the process of being approved. With this happening – companies are realizing that in order to sell their chicken and products that they are going to have to go non-GMO. These are big companies that are making these changes in anticipation of the labeling laws going into effect and the fact the rest of the county has no idea what a GMO is – will begin to question it when they start seeing “this product contains GMO’s” on their food. Our feed supplier has had poultry companies that raise hundreds and thousands of chicken and turkeys each month contact them to get on board with the non-GMO grain. Being that this is the only non-GMO feed company in the country that even has the ability to grow with this demand – they are sitting in a very pretty spot as far as a growing business standpoint. They are in the final stages of being completely Non-GMO Project verified."
