Prominent community leader A. Q. Mufti, from Mississauga, called upon Fr. Roman Galadza and expressed deep sorrow on the burning of his church and offered to be of any help on behalf of the Muslim Community of GTA. Mr. Khalid Usman, a well-known Muslim Philanthropist, a former Councilor from Markham, and A. Q. Mufti, on Muslim Community’s behalf, have jointly offered any kind of assistance to the congregants of the burned church in Brampton. It is the time when all people, especially the faith communities, should come together and show that we are all brethren in humanity and feel the pain of seeing one’s place of worship being destroyed in front of their eyes, and show their support at this testing time of the congregants of the church; we will be there when they raise funds to rebuild the church, said Mr. Khalid Usman. We can feel the pain and trauma that congregants would go through whether it be a Church, a Mosque, a Synagogue, a Temple, or a Gurdwarah.
