Contact: Cheryl Ross, cheryl@cherylrosscomm, 757-681-2116 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Government-worker turned novelist Terry M. Walker to Appear at Howard Nov. 7 October 2013 – Government-worker turned novelist Terry M. Walker will be appearing at the Howard University Bookstore from 4:30 to 6:30 pm Thursday, November 7 to speak about and sign copies of her acclaimed new book, A Bittersweet Love. Its a tale about a church woman, Shayna, who unknowingly marries a figure from the underworld. As Shaynas marriage progresses, clues begin to abound that her husband is not who he has pretended to be, and the tense drama unfolds. The husband wants to keep his innocent wife at all costs, while she wrestles with escaping the marriage. She chooses to leave, but will he let her? Engaging from the word go! This is a page turner of excitement, drama, romance and exotic adventure between a husband and his wife, not often written about on this level. This sizzles, endorses former Spike Lee film producer Monty Ross (no relation to Cheryl Ross, Terry Walkers publicist). New York Times best-selling author and Howard alum Omar Tyree has also endorsed the book. Ms. Walker was born and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and today lives in Upper Marlboro. She has worked for the U.S. Department of Justice for decades, currently as a budget analyst. She is a devoted Christian, wife and mother. Ten years ago, Ms. Walker began working on a book and completed all of nine pages. A few years back, she put pen to paper again, picking up where she left off, but this time she got to page 800. The result is a trilogy, of which A Bittersweet Love is the second in the series. Ms. Walker is available for interviews. To schedule an interview, please contact her publicist at cheryl@cherylrosscomm and at 757-681-2116.
